Traveling Trunks

Materials for our trunks are starting to come in and we hope to have at least some of them on display at our March 20th workshop.  These will include teacher resources, a variety of books, DVDs, artifacts, primary sources, etc.  The 4 trunks that are being created for this year relate to the time period 1607-1818:  American Indians, Colonial Era, American Revolution, and Founding Era.

Lesson Plans

Due to the rescheduling of the February workshop, the next lesson plan will be due to Thomas and Suzanne on April 12th (instead of March 5th).  Lesson plans can cover any topic in American History in the date range of 1607-1818.  It can focus on a particular workshop discussion or can be about something else.  Since some cover the Colonial Era in their classes and others don’t begin until Washington’s Administration, we left the topic open.  Create a lesson that is most useful for your teaching situation.
